Urban Design and Planning Team

A Consortium of Respected WA Planning and Design leaders
Team Agile is a consortium of Western Australian planning and urban design firms. We operate under a lean and agile structure that allows us to deliver high-quality advice, service and outcomes at competitive rates. Team Agile can provide something unique – a collaborative team built on these points of difference:
- On Country
- In Place
- Highly Responsive
- Expertise With Leverage
- Deep Knowledge
- Applied Expertise
- Lean Business Model
- Personal Service
Determined To Advance Inclusion
We are built around an Aboriginal business (Nyungar Birdiyia) and are determined to advance inclusion and reconciliation to the benefit of all Western Australians.

Deep Knowledge
Team Agile is deliberately focused on providing broad expertise. We recognise multinational firms sell this as a benefit, but the skills are often fragmented and not project-focused. Team Agile brings together some of Western Australia’s most experienced professionals. We don’t just know the rules; we help write them

Place Based design
Place-based processes and place-responsive design are at our core. We drive alignment and approval by being locally focused and engaging with the community and place. We believe in analysing the site constraints and opportunities and engaging with stakeholders. It is part of our process and our character.

Personal Service
We manage our project and client loads carefully to ensure that we have time to give them our full attention. Because we really understand the needs of our clients, we can provide them with personalised and highly tailored advice. This relationship-based approach leads to a more satisfying experience for everyone.
Team Agile Members
Structured but flexible, project responsive but able to see the big picture. Our emphasis on skills-sharing and knowledge-exchange produces planning and urban design solutions that combine precision and economy with a respect for complex multi-stakeholder interests and inclusion.
Our outcomes are templates for opportunity.

Appointed to the Development WA
Planning and Urban Design Panel
Team Agile members contribute personally and professionally to Aboriginal engagement process and practice. We celebrate the success of METRONET in creating the Gnarla Biddi Aboriginal Engagement Strategy and take pleasure in our contribution to its creation and application. We support Infrastructure WA’s endorsement of Gnarla Biddi as a benchmark for projects.

We produce plans for approval to enable development
We undertake design and planning using best practice with deep awareness of the extensive related heritage and environmental regulations, transport and utility codes and practices.
